Overview:

The Accounting Manager is primarily responsible for providing support throughout the monthly financial statement close process. This includes, but is not limited to, processing journal entries, preparing monthly GL account reconciliations, reviewing revenue contracts, and analyzing financial reports and supporting schedules. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that the Company’s finances are accurate, and the Company is in compliance with internal and external financial reporting requirements. Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of journal entries, recurring entries and expense accruals
  • Preparation of monthly account reconciliations primarily related to revenue, cost of goods sold, inventory, accrued expenses, debt and equity
  • Maintain/update bill of materials and process inventory transactions
  • Assist in the review of revenue contracts and arrangements
  • Analyze monthly revenue and gross margin schedules
  • Analyze financial reports and supporting schedules
  • Preparation and review of monthly close binders in accordance with SOX and internal control requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop test, and maintain the iPACS business logic layer (Perl Moose, DBIx, Catalyst) and front-end layer (Vue.js/Vuex, jQuery, Bootstrap)

Senior DevOps Engineer

Invicro is currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing Software/IT team in Boston, supporting our iPAQS software platform. The iPACS is a web-based platform used by researchers worldwide in the fight against diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer’s, providing tools for data mining and reporting on large amounts of medical imaging data. The Senior DevOps Engineer will report to the VP of Software and be a member of multiple cross-functional Agile teams. This position will establish a consistent delivery pipeline, configuration management, automate our infrastructure, implement continuous integration and continuous delivery across our iPACS application servers. Additionally, the ideal candidate would bring the necessary experience to streamline current deployment strategies, while training the current DevOps team and driving the adoption of industry best practices to keep our servers secure, scalable, and efficient.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain our on-prem Linux servers (we mainly use RHEL/CentOS) as well as Cloud infrastructure (mainly AWS)

The Study Manager is responsible for managing the organization and reporting of pre-clinical imaging studies within the Contract Research (CR) department.  The ideal candidate has experience in pre-clinical in vivo SPECT or PET nuclear medicine imaging techniques including understanding of theory, familiarity with data acquisition and analysis techniques, and experience in quality control and presentation of such data.

Key Duties:

  • Organize and oversee data acquisition, reporting, and preparation of scientific presentations/interpretation of results for a given study
  • Work closely with the analysis team to ensure that all desired deliverables are generated in a scientifically-relevant form, acceptable to send to the customer, and goals of a given study are clearly addressed
  • Take ultimate responsibility for quality control of all results and reports, as well as making sure all study-specific tasks get completed satisfactorily
  • Oversee the progress of a study from data acquisition to presentation and through completion
  • Oversee and manage project timelines and progress while working closely with Operations and CR Study Directors to interface with customers and subcontractors on oversight of project finances
  • Function as a representative of the CR department within Invicro, and maintain a positive attitude in interactions with all involved in a study, while focusing on collaborative problem-solving

This position is responsible for the development of analysis methodology, software tools, and algorithms for molecular imaging applications which may include, but are not limited to image registration, image segmentation, machine learning, data analysis, and general optimization techniques. The ideal candidate will apply these skills with a focus on ex-vivo analysis within histology, microscopy and autoradiography.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop image analysis methodology and tools from concept through to validation, documentation, appropriate SOPs, and application in close cooperation with our research-driven customers with an internal development team
  • Translate image analysis tools and methods from prototype to deployment, including integration into established software platforms and dissemination to colleagues and customers successfully
  • Manage customer-specific analysis projects, including generation of appropriate Invicro-standard supplemental materials (QC, plots, reports, spreadsheets) in parallel with project-specific analysis output

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • PhD or Masters with 2 or more years of relevant experience in image science, computer science, or electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of imaging modalities, preferably optical modalities including histology, microscopy, and autoradiography. Fluorescence imaging experience a plus.
